STEVE TURNER INSURANCE SPECIALIST FLORIDA

Westchase FL

Hi, I’m Steve Turner, and I’d like to be Your Insurance Agent and Broker serving residents of Westchase FL.

For many years, I’ve been helping neighbors (like you), in Westchase FL, find insurance plans that meet your individual, family, and business needs that are Affordable (Cheap). Which types of insurance can I assist you with?

  • Accident Insurance
  • Dental Insurance
  • Disability Insurance
  • Group Health Insurance
  • Health Insurance
  • Life Insurance
  • Medicare Insurance
  • Medicare Advantage Insurance
  • Medicare Supplement Insurance
  • Prescription Drug Insurance

Why choose Steve Turner Insurance Specialist?

Because I’m an “Insurance Specialist“. An “insurance specialist” is a broad term encompassing insurance agents and insurance brokers, but the key difference lies in who the agent represents versus who the broker represents.

An “insurance agent” works directly for an insurance company, selling their specific policies to clients.

An “insurance broker” acts as an independent intermediary, comparing policies from multiple companies to find the best fit for their client’s needs, essentially representing the client rather than the insurance company.

I am both a licensed Insurance Agent and a licensed Insurance Broker.

My number one goal in life is to help people and ensure, without a shadow of a doubt, that you and your family are secure and protected. I will always be by your side, helping you mitigate risk by providing the industry’s best and most affordable insurance solutions.

I will find insurance plans for the entire family to help cover whatever life throws at you. I can help you save on severe medical emergencies, find a health insurance plan with low-to-no-cost doctor visits and affordable prescription medication, and protect your family in the event of an unexpected accident or illness.

Best of all – it doesn’t cost you anything extra to use an experienced Insurance Agent and Broker like me to help you find the Insurance Plans that fit your individual, family, or business needs.

The companies that sell the insurance plans “you choose” pay me – you don’t pay me. Calling any big insurance company directly won’t result in your getting a lower price, as they will forward your call to the next available insurance agent on their list. You won’t have had any opportunity to learn about the insurance agent you’re speaking with in advance to understand their qualifications or experience level and make an informed choice about who you want to work with.

Scroll down to the Contact Me section below and get in touch with me by phone, email, or schedule a “No Obligation” chat through my calendar. I look forward to speaking with you!

Westchase FL

Of course. Westchase is one of the most successful and influential master-planned communities in the entire Tampa Bay region. I’ve had a front-row seat to its development, watching it grow from an empty cattle ranch into a vibrant, self-contained community that set a new standard for suburban living in Florida.

The Birth of a “Neo-Traditional” Community 🏡

The story of Westchase is a story of the 1990s. Its development began in 1991 when American General Development Corp. began transforming a massive tract of land—part of the historic Double Branch Ranch—into a new kind of suburb.

The concept behind Westchase was groundbreaking for Tampa at the time. It was one of the first large-scale communities in the area to embrace the principles of “new urbanism” or “neo-traditional” design. The goal was to move away from the standard, car-dependent suburb and create a place with a stronger sense of community. This was achieved by designing a collection of distinct “villages,” each with its own character and housing styles, all interconnected by a vast network of parks, trails, and green spaces. At its heart was the idea of creating walkable town centers with shops, restaurants, and apartments above the storefronts.

The name, “Westchase,” is a classic developer-created name, expertly crafted to sound established and prestigious.

  • “West” simply refers to its prime location in the western part of Hillsborough County.
  • “Chase” is a traditional English term for a private hunting ground or an unenclosed parkland, a name meant to evoke an image of an upscale, green, and pastoral estate.

A Walkable, Amenity-Rich Suburb 🌳

Today, Westchase is a bustling, affluent, and highly sought-after unincorporated community. Its identity is defined by its beautifully manicured landscapes, its active social scene, and its incredible array of amenities. The community features two major town centers, multiple community swimming pools and tennis courts, and the beautiful Westchase Golf Club that winds its way through the neighborhoods.

The crown jewel of its design is West Park Village, a walkable town center with a central square, restaurants with outdoor seating, and charming storefronts. This area allows residents to enjoy a more urban, social lifestyle without leaving their suburban community. Like its neighbors, Westchase is an unincorporated Census-Designated Place (CDP) governed by H Hillsborough County, but it is managed by a very powerful and well-organized set of community and homeowners’ associations.
